Farmers’ Markets
Make the farmers’ market your regular place to shop for fresh produce and home baked goods. You can find the freshest, most flavorful, healthy and affordable produce available at farmers’ markets throughout our vibrant border region. Most now accept EBT, WIC and Senior farmers’ market checks.
La Semilla has partnered with area farmers’ markets to help recruit farmers, conduct trainings, promote the use of SNAP benefits, and provide cooking demonstrations and other educational programming. We have developed a step by step Vendor Manual for farmers and food producers interested in selling at local farmers’ markets and advertising materials to help promote area farmers’ markets.
